On a balmy October evening, we gathered our Olive family for an intimate dinner at the beautiful OGB Dining Room to celebrate the launch of our newest essential, the Olive Tanning Mitt. Bubbles flowed, food was shared, and laughter filled the room as we toasted to how far we’ve come (and what’s next). Each guest took home a mitt of their own, soft, streak-free, and designed for that effortless Olive glow.
On a balmy October evening, we gathered our gorgeous Olive family for an intimate dinner at the beautiful OGB Dining Room to celebrate something we’ve been so excited to share, the launch of our brand-new Olive Tanning Mitt.
The evening was everything we hoped it would be, warm, relaxed, and full of laughter. As guests arrived, the clink of bubbles and soft chatter filled the historic OGB space. There’s something so special about bringing our Olive community together, familiar faces who have supported us from the very beginning, and new ones who embody the same mantra we celebrate every day.
Each place at the table was set with intention, bespoke Olive menus, delicate place cards, and a tanning mitt to take home, a small token to say thank you and to introduce the newest addition to the Olive collection.
Dinner unfolded, a true OGB experience. Beautiful dishes were shared, photos were taken, and that unmistakable hum of connection lingered through the night.

We recently hosted our very first community event at Strong Pilates Christchurch CBD, and it was a morning to remember. From an empowering Pilates class to an inspiring talk by Nic Robertson on slowing down and choosing joy, the theme was all about unfiltered wellness. Held at the beautiful Strong Pilates Christchurch CBD, our event was an intimate celebration of real, unfiltered wellness — the kind that’s less about perfection and more about presence.
Words That Hit Home
Our guest speaker, Nic Robertson from Unapologetically Robertson, took the floor and left a lasting impact on every Olive girl in the room. Her message?
To slow down.
To stop trying to do everything.
To be present — and to choose the things that actually bring joy and peace, not the things we think we should be doing.
Nic reminded us that wellness isn’t about ticking boxes — it’s about stripping back the noise and tuning into what truly matters to you.
Moving With Intention
The morning finished with an energising Pilates-only class, led by the incredible Lauren, whose guidance helped us drop into our bodies and feel the burn. The room was filled with strength, focus, and the kind of sweat that feels like a reset button.
Unfiltered Wellness
That was the theme of the day: Unfiltered Wellness. We talked about letting go of the performative side of self-care and instead embracing authenticity, intention, and simplicity. It was a breath of fresh air to gather with like-minded women and just be.

Two Years of Olive Tan: All That Glitters.
Two years of Olive, one unforgettable night. We took over Christchurch’s Austin Club, dressed to the nines, and raised a grapefruit cocktail (or three) to everything we’ve built. Ambassadors, friends, and industry icons lit up the underground in full glitter mode—and yes, it was just as iconic as it sounds.
Last week, we marked two years of Olive Tan—and we did it the only way we know how: underground, after dark, and dripping in style.
To celebrate, we took over Christchurch’s best cocktail bar, Austin Club—a moody, low-lit spot made for nights like this. For one night only, it was completely Olive-ied: custom cocktails, killer tunes, and a crowd that knows how to turn a look.
The theme was “All That Glitters”, and our people delivered. Sequins, metallics, bold silhouettes—every corner sparkled. From Olive ambassadors to industry legends to our day-one ride-or-dies, the room was full of those who’ve helped build this brand from the ground up.
DJ Fairbrother took care of the sound, keeping the energy up and the dance floor full. Guests were welcomed with a grapefruit cocktail that pretty much stole the show—yes, it was that good. The bespoke cocktail menu hit all the right notes, paired with stacked platters, crispy calamari, and prawn croquettes that didn’t last long.
There was a teddy bear hunt (because we don’t take ourselves too seriously), a quick toast, and a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come—before diving straight back into the chaos.
It was one of those nights where everything just clicks: the clothes, the people, the mood. Nothing forced. Nothing fake. Just real ones celebrating something we’ve built together.
