On a crisp morning in the heart of Christchurch, something truly special happened. We hosted Olive’s very first community wellness event — and it was everything we’d hoped for and more.
Held at the beautiful Strong Pilates Christchurch CBD, our event was an intimate celebration of real, unfiltered wellness — the kind that’s less about perfection and more about presence.
Words That Hit Home
Our guest speaker, Nic Robertson from Unapologetically Robertson, took the floor and left a lasting impact on every Olive girl in the room. Her message?
To slow down.
To stop trying to do everything.
To be present — and to choose the things that actually bring joy and peace, not the things we think we should be doing.
Nic reminded us that wellness isn’t about ticking boxes — it’s about stripping back the noise and tuning into what truly matters to you.
Moving With Intention
The morning finished with an energising Pilates-only class, led by the incredible Lauren, whose guidance helped us drop into our bodies and feel the burn. The room was filled with strength, focus, and the kind of sweat that feels like a reset button.
Unfiltered Wellness
That was the theme of the day: Unfiltered Wellness. We talked about letting go of the performative side of self-care and instead embracing authenticity, intention, and simplicity. It was a breath of fresh air to gather with like-minded women and just be.
